The
rules of Sudokugrams are simple:
1. Fill in the empty squares with the letters in the Letter
Pool, using each letter only once.
2. Make sure there are no repeating letters in any of the
rows, columns, or heavily outlined 2 x 2 sections.
3. Form twelve different sets of four letters in the rows,
columns, and 2 x 2 sections so that each set can be anagrammed
(unscrambled) into a common word. Capitalized and abbreviated
words are not allowed and profane or derogatory slang words
are not used. For a complete list of acceptable words, please
click onto the word list.
Here’s a sample puzzle and its solution:
Letter Pool: A, E, O, P, S, U, Y
Rows: FATE, JURY, IDOL, RASP (anagrams such as FEAT are okay)
Columns: TOUR, JADE, FIRS, PLAY (the anagram of ROUT is okay)
Boxes: JUTE, FRAY, ROAD, SLIP (anagrams such as LIPS are okay)
